How to Clean and Store Your NexaJoy Massager

The part touching your body needs cleaning. The charging connection needs to stay dry. Keeping those two things separate is a useful place to start.

All six current NexaJoy models—Bloom, Aura, Nova, Halo, Paw and Pulse—allow wiping and local rinsing of their contact surfaces. That does not mean you should submerge the whole device or use it in the bath. Follow the care instructions included with your model.

Start with the device switched off

Disconnect the charging cable before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the contact surfaces, paying attention to any visible residue around edges or openings.

For local rinsing, keep the water on the contact area and away from the charging connection. Do not immerse the device or direct water into the housing. There is no need to take it apart for this routine.

If the supplied instructions specify a cleaning product or method, follow those instructions. Avoid improvising with household disinfectants, abrasive pads or heat treatments that are not approved for the device.

Give the shape a little attention

A smooth surface is easy to see and wipe. An opening, an edge or the area around a second head can take a closer look.

On a suction model such as Bloom, check the accessible rim around the opening. On models with two contact areas, remember to clean both. Do not push tools into an opening or pull at a flexible part to reach further inside.

If you cannot remove visible residue using the permitted care method, stop and ask us for help. Include the model name and a description of the area you are trying to clean.

Dry it before charging or putting it away

After cleaning, pat accessible surfaces dry with a soft cloth and allow the device to dry fully. Check around openings and edges as well as the broad surfaces. A fixed number of minutes is less useful than checking that it is actually dry.

Bloom, Aura, Nova and Halo use magnetic charging connections. Paw and Pulse use pin-style connections. Whichever model you own, keep that connection dry and do not reconnect the cable while moisture remains.

Make space for it to dry

It is tempting to clean a device and put it straight back in its box. Leave it out to finish drying first, somewhere clean and away from splashes.

Once dry, store it in a clean, dry place where other items will not press against its contact surfaces. If you use a pouch or case, make sure that is dry too. The same applies when packing for a trip: allow drying time before you close the bag.

What about the remote?

Halo's separate remote contains a button-cell battery. Keep it out of the rinsing routine and follow its supplied care instructions. Treat the charging cable separately as well; permission to rinse a device's contact surface does not extend to its accessories.

If the surface is damaged, a connection is wet or something no longer works as expected, stop using the device and contact us before charging or trying it again. You do not need to guess whether another rinse will solve it.
